Tejana

Tejana lady found her place in September 2023 as her foster family absolutely fell in love with her. A unique looking pitty mix with a unique story. During a trip to the state fair of Texas after introducing ourselves to a stunt dog group that performs with rescue dogs they informed us they found a dog at a gas station on the way into town. They reached out to every rescue partner they knew but nobody was able to take her & we knew we had to help. We aren’t sure of her past but she is very skittish around men and has a hard time trusting fast movements. It took about 5 months to get Tejana to trust us and she is one of the most goofy / loving dogs we have ever had in our rescue.
